Seychelles President Danny Faure led discussions to address issues of common interest and strengthen cooperation with officials from Monaco, Morocco and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Faure held bilateral talks with officials from the three countries on the sidelines of the COP22 environmental meeting held\u00a0this week\u00a0in Marrakech, february 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His talks with Prince Albert II of Monaco focused on how the two countries can collaborate and effect change on global issues, including climate change and the need to include the oceans in the implementation of the Paris Agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Faure noted that Seychelles and Monaco enjoy \u201cexcellent relations\u201d. Their meeting focused on issues of common interest, including ocean governance and the need for action to address the vulnerabilities of small nations. Environmental protection and research were highlighted as areas for cooperation.
