On Friday November 17th, 2023, the festivities started for the honorary consular corps with the traditional “Déjeuner du Corps Diplomatique et Consulaire” orchestrated by the Doyen of the Diplomatic Corps, H.E. Mr. Jean d’Haussonville, Ambassador of France to Monaco.
On November 18th, a reception at the Monaco Yacht Club, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and his family, brought together the honorary consuls.
The traditional Te Deum marked the start of the national day’s celebration on November 19th, 2023. The “Prise d’Armes”, in accordance with the oldest Monegasque customs, was admired by the Consuls from the Place du Palais.
The day ended in style with the annual Gala at the Salle des Princes, in the Grimaldi Forum, where was featured the lyrical show “Caruso à Monte Carlo”, conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano.
